1. Who We Are

BZ Solar Solutions ("we", "us") is a solar installation business serving the Philippines. We are the entity responsible for the personal information collected through this website (the "data controller"). 2. Information We Collect

When you use this website, we may collect:

• Quote / lead details: your full name, email address, phone number, region (city and province), your selected appliance profile and usage hours, your interest level (exploring / comparing / ready within 30–90 days), and your preferred payment method.
• Mar AI chat conversations: if you chat with our AI assistant "Mar", we store the messages you send and Mar's replies (including any name, email, or phone number you type into the chat) so we can respond to and follow up on your inquiry, improve the assistant, and act on any rating or feedback you choose to leave about your experience.
• Usage and device data: anonymous session identifiers, estimator and page interactions, and a limited record of your approximate IP address used for security and abuse-prevention (rate limiting).
• Location (only if you ask for it): if you tap "Use my location" on a quote form, your device's coordinates are sent once to Google Maps so we can fill in your city and province. We do not store the coordinates, and we never fill in your street or house number from them.
• Cookies: a small number of functional cookies (see Section 8 and our Cookie Policy).

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• generate your personalized solar quote;
• enable our team to follow up with you about your inquiry;
• operate and improve the Mar AI assistant and the website;
• protect the site against abuse and secure your data; and
• where you have separately opted in, send you occasional solar updates and tips (you can unsubscribe at any time).

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data.

4. Legal Basis & Consent

We process your data on the basis of your consent (which you give when you submit the quote form or start a chat with Mar) and our legitimate interests in responding to your inquiry and operating the website securely, consistent with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173). You may withdraw your consent at any time (see Section 7).

5. Who We Share It With (Service Providers)

We rely on a small number of trusted service providers who process data on our behalf, under agreements that limit them to providing their service to us:

• Supabase: secure database hosting for your records.
• OpenRouter: routes your chat messages to the AI model that generates Mar's replies.
• OpenAI: the AI model provider that produces Mar's replies from your chat messages.
• Vercel: website hosting and content delivery.
• Slack: internal lead and data-request notifications sent only to authorized BZ Solar Solutions staff.
• Google Analytics and Google Ads: consent-controlled website analytics, ad attribution, and advertising measurement.
• Google Maps Platform: converts coordinates into a city and province when you use the "Use my location" button, and resolves the address on your quote for delivery planning.
• An email delivery provider: to send your quote and any updates you have opted into.
• Meta / Facebook: only if you choose to contact us through our Facebook page.

6. Where Your Data Is Processed (International Transfers)

Some of our service providers process data on servers located outside the Philippines (for example, in Singapore or the United States). Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information remains protected to a standard consistent with Philippine law.

7. Your Rights

Under the Data Privacy Act, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy of it;
• Correct any inaccurate or outdated information;
• Delete / erase your record (the "right to be forgotten");
• Object to or restrict certain processing;
• Withdraw consent and unsubscribe from marketing at any time; and
• Data portability: receive your data in a portable format.

To exercise any of these rights, use our data request form or contact us at hello@updates.bzsolarsolutions.com. We will respond within a reasonable period (and in any case within the timeframe required by law). We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

8. How Long We Keep Your Data

We keep your quote / lead record for as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry and for legitimate business and legal purposes. Mar chat logs, retrieval logs, and high-volume usage telemetry are kept only for a limited period (typically up to 30 days) and are then archived or deleted; administrative audit logs are kept for up to 90 days. You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time (Section 7).

9. How We Protect Your Data

Your data is stored in an access-controlled database with Row-Level Security enabled, and is encrypted in transit. Only authorized BZ Solar Solutions team members can access records relevant to their role, and administrative actions are logged.

10. Cookies and Tracking

We use minimal functional storage to maintain your session and remember form state. The Google tag starts with analytics and advertising storage denied. If you accept optional cookies, Google Analytics and Google Ads may use storage for site analytics, ad attribution, and advertising measurement. See our Cookie Policy for details.

11. Children's Privacy

This website is intended for adults making decisions about solar for their home or business. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

12. Data Breaches

In the event of a personal-data breach that is likely to put you at risk, we will notify the National Privacy Commission and affected individuals as required by the Data Privacy Act.

13. Complaints

If you believe your data privacy rights have been violated, you may contact us first at hello@updates.bzsolarsolutions.com, and you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission of the Philippines at privacy.gov.ph.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision, and significant changes will be communicated via the website.
